Westwind ‘A’
The program called for a small 5,000 sq ft 2 storey building with retail on the lower floor and office above. The expression developed was to have the offices access from an open walkway surrounding the space protected by a deep, thin roof “wing” to highlight the form. The elevator stands as a separate iconic element.
